Guest Bio

Rich Polt helps families and institutions preserve their legacies as a film producer, communicator and speaker. As founder of Acknowledge Media, Rich creates documentary-style movies built on conversations with loved ones. These movies serve as a link to the past and a treasure for future generations. Earlier in his career, Rich built and managed two P.R. agencies, Louder Than Words and Communicate GOOD. In 2012, Rich launched a nationwide philanthropic effort called Talking GOOD, which recognized inspiring people “making a difference.”

A Pikesville, MD native, Rich currently lives in Baltimore County with his wife, Jennifer, and his two sons, Samuel and Ethan. He serves on the Board of Directors for The Louise D. & Morton J. Macks Center for Jewish Education (a division of The Associated). Rich is a passionate cyclist and yogi, and also enjoys reading, skiing, camping, and crossword puzzles.
