Guest Bio  Kathleen Benjamin, CFP®, CPA is Chief Operating Officer and Advisor at BFG Financial Advisors. She possesses more than 25 years of corporate and financial planning experience, and has a strong niche working with physicians and medical practices. Before joining Brotman Financial Group, as a principal in 2015 Ms. Benjamin owned her own single-planner firm, Benwood Financial Group, in Cincinnati, Ohio. BFG Financial Advisors represents the consolidation of Brotman Financial Group and Benwood Financial Group. She works alongside her clients to assess current finances, define future goals, and then develop a coordinated strategy to help meet those goals. Ms. Benjamin received her degree from The Ohio State University majoring in accounting and finance. She earned her Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification in 1992 and her Certified Financial PlannerTM (CFP®) certification in 2005. When not working with clients, she enjoys volunteering and has accepted numerous invitations to hold leadership positions within the industry, including serving as a Trustee on the Board of the Million Dollar Round Table Foundation.
