Guest Bio
Dianne Gilbert is the mother of two grown children and five perfect grandchildren.

After a varied career, which included teaching, years with Baltimore County government in the County Council and the County Executive’s office, and years with Comcast in government and community relations, she retired.

Her time now is every bit as full as it was working in demanding careers. She has served, or is currently serving on several boards, e.g. Community Mediation Maryland, Leadership Baltimore County, Leadership Montgomery County, BFG Financial Advisors, Well for the Journey and more. She is also involved with the Ripken Foundation on a fundraising committee and the Weinberg Foundation with the libraries program. At her church she works with the missions ministry, both locally and internationally.

In her spare time, she enjoys travellng – in 2018 she traveled to Spain for the El Camino, Scotland, and Thailand. She also takes classes, both for physical and spiritual well-being and volunteers where and when needed.
