Guest Bio
Katie Marks:
I’m a Maryland native, partner dancer, yoga instructor, business developing cool girl. I live in Baltimore with my partner, Kelly, and our dog, Bailey. I began my professional career in the clinical research world of The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. I quickly realized that I wanted to interact with people far more, and I was recruited into a sales position. By day, my full-time job is business development for Health Quest Chiropractic & Physical Therapy. I am also embarking on an entrepreneurial venture with Kelly, Kelly’s Carrots. I have always had more than one pursuit going on at a given time. For me, the importance of having a side gig is tied to my ability to keep coming up with ideas that allow me to create a more aligned path in life. In order for me to keep learning and growing, I have to keep trying things, keep multiple streams of income, and find a balance of stability and risk.
